Does anyone know the production numbers of 430 factory dual wheel models? I have a chance to aquire a 1959 430T with dual rear wheels. It is in rough shape, and I wonder if the cost of restoring it is worth it. Engine stuck, sheet metal fair, tires up, nice 3-Pt,(tranny, rear end, brakes good) JM

Pull the three bolt cover off the back of trans case/final drive right above the pto. Look at the ring and pinion gears to see if anything is left. Dubuques or any other tractor for that matter, were not made to be over ballasted and/or over-tired then lugged hard in 1st or 2nd gear for extended periods. What's the machine's history?

What makes you think it came with duals from the factory.
