The back windows of my 4010 are cracked does anyone know of anyone who sells these. Will a cab off a 4020 fit on a 4010? I also noticed that the newer cabs have the headlights on top of the cab is this a better place for them?
I am trying to figue out if it would be cheaper to pick up a good used newer cab or fix up the existing cab. Any help on where to find parts or used cabs appreciated.
Thanks Al

Cabs on these are after market items, I think the 4010 and 4020 should be the same as basically the body is the same. Most cabs in my area were either Hinson or Hiniker brand Ibelieve. I don't know about othe parts of the country or if these companies are still in business. The far back window often fell victim to a low raised into it when the window was partially open. You might even check with a place that does automotive glass. Think they can get the window part. As far as lights I think it depends upon what you are doing. The lights down lower will be more intense on close work, a windrow for baling or something. The overhead ones give you a farther view but not as bright. I would not put them on the top of the cab as they will be sure to get knocked off.
