JD ten spline round spoke wheels for '37 A

I've been looking for a set of round spoke wheels for my 37 A. Found set, but He wants $1500 for them. They are rusty and need to be blasted and painted. This seems a little on the high side. What do you guys think? They are F&H wheels.

this would be in the ballpark for what the current prices are. it would depend on how bad the rust is and if there are any pitting, pin holes or spokes that need to be repaired. i would also recomend you find a set out from the midwest area where the wheels seem to age a lot more gracefully. either way, take your time and find a set of wheels that just need sandblasting, priming and paint. it will be worth the few extra bucks you pay.
