I have a 812 14" plow for my 50 and it works very well. My operators manuel shows adding a third bottom to convert it to a 813 plow. Coulters and clamps should fit your plow off most any truss frame plow.

I have both an 810 and an 812 model JD in two bottom versions. The 812 was only a two bottom, the 813 was only a 3 bottom and the 814 was a 4 bottom. Both the 812 and 813 were made from 1953 to 1956. The Model 810 could be a 2, 3 or 4 bottom plow and was built from 1956 to 1958 with some additional versions (810A) built through 1960. The differences between the 812 or 810 in equivalent # of bottoms is very minor and a parts book must be in hand to compare the part numbers on each plow to detect the changes. The 812, 813, 814 were originally designed to be used with the 800 series hitches. The 810's could be used with the 800 series hitches as well as the 20 and 30 series 3 point hitch. To be used with the 800 series hitches a Mast Head (P819A) was required to be added to the plow. All models had various versions of the trip back bottom.

The parts catalog for all of the above plows from JD Pubs is PC0390 priced at $30 either in paper form or on CD.

There is a multitude of bottom options on all of the above plows and a extensive selection of coulters too. The coulters are listed in the PC390 parts book but the bottoms are listed in another JD Publication = PC158 ($30.00) and/or PC1308 (30.00)HS. There are 2 piece bottoms with the old style share and three piece bottoms which include the HS moldboard, Shin and newer style throwaway share.

Hope this helps.

I will be interested in what others have to say here. Right now for the life of me, I can't remember what the differaces is between the 810 and the 813 plow. What I do recall is that the 800 series plows came out with the 800 hitch for the 50, 60, 70's. And 800 series plows are still pictured with promotion pictures on "30" series tractors. The 40 430 tractor plows were in the 400 series. When the 1010's/4010's came out the 800 and the 400 series plows were replaced with the F-35 (stiff standars) and F-45 (trip standards) The F series plows became the econemy plow in the line as the top of the line 3 Pt plow at that time was the F-125. The F-45 sure looks like an 800 series plow except that it has a shorter landing lever.
