I need some parts that are no longer available from JD. The tractor is torn down at the dealer and they are looking for some unavailable PTO parts from other sorces. This is my first experience with looking for parts for this tractor and was wondering if JD would release the drawings for obsolete parts so that they could be made. I am a machinist by trade and could reproduce what I need but there are some features of the old part that are worn out and therefore cannot be made unless I have a drawing or a new part to copy. Any comment would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jim 484-576-6573

Did you ever have any luck w/ the prints for your worn out JD parts?

Since 6030s were basically a turbocharged & intercooled 5020, I'm wondering if 5020 parts would fit the 6030. Might make used parts easier to find.

You would be better off calling around to some salvage yards for the parts. 6030's are common in salvage yards now that they are getting older. Most 6030's were used for heavy tillage and not much PTO work so the pto drivelines would probably be in good shape. I don't know where you are, but Martin Tractor in Pa. has a couple of 6030's for parts. 717-776-7542.

I am interested in parts from 6030. Radiator, exhaust elbow coming out of turbo, and 6 blade engine fan. Please let me know soon as possible if you have parts and how much you want for them.
Thank you
