Jon, I tried to cut and paste this but it didnt come out very well spaced. However, it should show where the plate is and the year of your tractor versus its Serial Number. I cant guarantee its accuracy though, I havent checked it against any other SN sources.

Hi Jon:
On my 46 A, it is located on the pully side just under the magneto or distributor. The plate (or tag) should be very obivious.
