66 4020 diesel, pulled from field. Question, need to remove fuel tank to clean and check for corrosion/leak at bottom. Took 2 front side cutains off. Loosened the two straps that attach the aircleaner to tank, but tank won't budge. Is there attachment points at bottom? How do I get it off.

The fuel tank sits on a doughnut-shaped pad. There's no hardware attaching the tank to the pad, but the tank can get pretty well glued in place with dirt, grease, oil, etc., as the bottom of the tank is exposed.

I know it's obvious, but remember that the fuel line is attached to the bottom of the tank, which can hold it in place.

BTW, once the fuel tank is off, you might want to take the opportunity to give the radiator and oil cooler a good cleaning out; it'll make a difference in the operating temperature.

The fuel line attaches at the bottom of the tank.I'm assuming you have the hood off and the return line off of the top of the tank. I also usually pull the front panel off to gain a little more room.

Ya, I have the hood off. I guess I will take off those two lines and see if it will break loose. I have not taken the front "nose" off, the shield with the 2 large bolts on it. Do i need to?

You can get by without removing the front nose piece. You may want to take the air cleaner and the bands off to gain some room to wiggle the tank around.

...and of course don't forget to drain the fuel from the tank BEFORE lifting it...
