JD 332 vs 322 ?'s

I'm currently looking to buy a small JD, like the 332 or 322. From what I know, the diesel model is the better way to go. Do these little tractors have full working front/mid/rear PTOs?

I saw an add locally for a 322 w/mover, tiller, wagon, and loader for $4800/bo, about 800 hrs, is that a steal? I'm not well versed in the JD line. I want something compact, but has a rear & mid PTO. Need to mow and till.

Thoughts? Perhaps a different JD? Looking to buy used, $3000-$4000 range.

They both have hydrostatic transmissions, dual hyd outlets at the front and individual wheel brakes, all nice features. Deere did offer a 3pt hitch and rear PTO for these tractors when new. I think the mid/front PTO was essentially a belt drive from the engine, not a true front PTO but able to run a snowblower, etc. Deere also offered a small FEL along with mmm and rear tillers. About the only implement they didn't offer was a small bush hog or rotary, but again we're talking garden tractor here not CUT.

$4800 is a reasonable price for a 322 or 322 in good shape, especially with all of the extras like the tiller and FEL. The FEL in particular is very sought after by 318 owners. Snap it up while you can.

My dad had a 322 for a number of years and I enjoyed using it, very nice for a GT.
