Guys,

My father and I have begun work on an 1936 B. One of the first problems we discovered is that the belt pulley splines on the crankshaft are severely worn. Our options of course are to replace the crankshaft or have the splines built up with weld then re-machined. My question is what is the best place to fined out the measurements for the splines. The rest of the crankshaft is in great shaped so i hate to discard it for just one defect. Thanks for your help!

Jim

Dave,

How much are you asking for the crankshaft and what is it's condition.

Jim, I have two parts tractors sitting outside. I'll have to wait until warmer weather to even take a look. We have quite a storm here now. Email me when the weather warms a bit and I'll take a look.
