Al,

What do you call hot?? What part of the country are you in? Your MT, if you are putting a load on it can run 220 and that is OK. It is a therm-siphon based system, so make sure you are running no more than a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze to [distilled] water. If you are mixing 50/50, just drain some of the radiator fluid and add just some more distilled water, then run her and see what happens...has the cooling system ever been flushed before? As stated before, make sure your fan-belt is turning well and the belts center tightness is in spec. Finally, if your radiator's fin's are clogged or something else, you know what you need to do...

Check to make sure the fan belt is not slipping also.
