I have a John Deere M with a siezed motor. I was told that it froze from not being used while sitting in a shed.(about 5 years) The tractor is in good shape otherwise. Are there any good lubricants that would help loosen the pistons? Thanks for any advice.

I just unstuck my MI after about 3 years of sitting outside. I used Marvel Mystery Oil, pumped some in each cylinder, let it stand for several days, jacked up a back wheel, and rocked it in 4th gear till it finally let loose and turned over freely without plugs in head.

Kroil from Kano Labs or P. B. Blaster. Kroil is can be purchased in gallon size while PB Blaster is in spray cans. Both work well.
