What model tractor could these be off of? They have rice & cane tires.

I went out and looked. The cast centre is the AR1005R, the rim is AR771R and the clamps are B634R which were options on the "R" for cane and rice growers according to a friend's parts book. The tires were 23.1-26 which are 18-26 (I think). I would expect to find similar items in a 80/820/830 parts book but I don't have any of these (yet). When it warms up, I am going to try to fit these rims and tires tires on my AR with a nice set of 5.50-16 fronts. Does anyone know if those little 12" from an H will fit the front hubs? I promise to post pics.

The H uses a 4.00x15 front tire. I don't know if it'll fit other models though.

I know of an "R" that has 23.1x26 tires. I think this is the modern approximation of the old 18-26 designation. I looked at it in the summertime but I did not think to write down the number on the cast centre or the number on the clamps. It is nice out today, maybe I will run out there. I am quite fascinated with how these rims might fit on to my AR, which also has 26" tires. I have one AR with the A2759R cast centre and A2760R clamps and one with a A3xxxR # centre and B634R clamps. The parts book tells us that the 2759 would only take a 13-26(14.9x26) but the 3xxx cast centre will accept a "drop centre" rim that is a bit wider and will accept a 14-26 or 15-26 tire which I believe are 16.9 and 18.4 respectively. I have noted several tractors including my 60 std that use the B634R clamp. I think that maybe the way the A2760R clamps works might have necessitated the improved B634R clamp because of the inherently stronger "drop centre" rim. Anyway I digress and I am starting to scare myself. I think parts books are fascinating, especially when you get 2 different models and start comparing parts numbers. My point is I know of a "R" with that tire, correct or not, I don't know but I think I will invest in a parts book and find out. I have operator's manuals for 80 and 70, I will check them out.

What type of axle attachment is in the middle of the casting? A round hole with splines or a hole with wedges and five bolts?

They are the wedge type, same as 3010-4020 etc.

The model 730,830,820 and i'm not sure about 720's were all offered with these tire options.....Paul.

I would say they are probably off an 820 or 830.

if I was a beetin man would guess was off a self propelled combine of some type. Have seen a D w/ 26" tires before
