I have removed these two-piece weights from my unstyled "D". My questions:

1. are these the original weights that Deere would have shipped with the tractor or are they an after-thought? The rear rims are original factory round-spoke rubber and these two-piece weights and the attaching hardware fit the wheels very well.
2. what are they worth?

Thanks,
Jon

Jon, those F & H weights were a pretty standard weight used on the unstyled Deere spoked wheels. Should have some J hooks with them also.
~I'm not sure those weights were shipped on the tractor as they were a dealer installed attachment. [they probably came in a separate crate].
~I have seen them on plenty of D's but not sure they were added at time of sale or later..
~As per cost? That depends on your area & the number available in your area at the time you are selling.

Clooney,
Thanks for the information. I do indeed have the "J" bolts and other original mounting bolts.

An interesting aside on weights, the Canadian agent/importer {whose name escapes me at the moment} had a local foundry cast weights for them. Probably was cheaper than shipping iron from the mid-west by rail. I have been told that these weights are quite valuable up here.
