How do I convert a 1944 JD model B from there 2 arm implement lift to a 3 point hitch?
If possible, where could I purchase a kit?
Did the factory B ever come with 3 pt hitch?

Jon:

Something to consider is that if your '44 B has a Powr-Lift (pedal-style unit), you would only get All-up or All-down action. You would have to have a Powr-Trol unit to get variable position control which is what you probably want and need with a three-point hitch. Newer Powr-Trol units can be swapped onto your B if you decide to go with a three point hitch.

Jon, the B never came from the factory with a 3-point hitch but one could always be added later if desired.
~I build my own 3-point but it is real similar to the Saginaw County Tractor aftermarket 3-point hitch.
~The Saginaw 3-point is about the best I have seen out there. [see link]. ~That hitch comes from Michigan & is heavy so if you live a long ways from Michigan you might see if there is a decent 3-point hitch closer to home. The shipping will be high on the Saginaw unit as it is heavy.
~The link takes you to the hitch, here is the link to their home page. http://www.saginawcountytractor.com
