Is their any good power mods I can make on my M. Our friend has a really strong 430 that he pulls. He just has the largest stock pistons and a little head work. We might try pulling a couple of times but we built it for farming. We widened the rims and put 14.9X24's on them and now were looking for a little power.

More compression would make a big difference.. Might be able to use sleeves and pistons from a later model..( 40? ) 7 to 1 or a little higher would be appropriate..for compression...

Jon,

How do you like the bigger tires? I'm going to do the same thing, to get a lighter footprint to mow my lawn. I've found a pair of 14.9x24 tires off of a grader at a good price, but the rolling diameter is 6-8 inches more. Did you have to set your tires out further to clear the fenders? What tire pressure do you run?
