I'm a trifle confused, when you say grill do you mean the sheetmetal nose? Which as I look at it is two side pieces and the front piece which covers the steering box and shaft. There is screening behind both side pieces. Is this called the grill? Thanks

Pete.. not sure of the exact name for them.. but I always called the screen the wire mesh part.. and the grill the entire front piece that the mesh fits into.. Two piece.. This is on a styled tractor.. Looking for a set for a G..

JDGnut, I bought a set for my G for $310 on EBAY, am very happy they fit pretty well and they did a nice job fabricating them. Wilson Farms sells them also on their Internet Store. Are you looking for G grills, or some other ones, G grills are on Ebay now. John

I purchased a set for my A. I am pleased with the quality, considering the price. The total after shipping was 300.00. They are about the same gauge sheetmetal as factory. They are welded at the top, in the deep rounded corner. From what I understand it is very difficult to form sheetmetal into that deep of a corner, so they make two pieces, weld them together and grind smooth. Actually one of my grilles look better than the other. Also the grille bar which extends into the depressed portion of the side panel is welded on. But it is a nice job, I just worry about rust between those pieces. The screens are a little thin and the spaces are not exact. Overall I am pleased. Much better than what I had!

I have seen what you described about how they are put together. I have also wanted to know how they could do them
in 1 piece in 1939 but not 2003 ???? Yet another mystery of why this countrys manufacturing is going to pot or at least south of the boarder.

JDGnut,
The name of the business is Wilson Farms and their website was restoretractors.com. But the site no longer works. They also advertise in 2-cylinder magazine. There was a lady that I exchanged e-mails with, she was very helpful. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
