I have one, they were noted for the wheels tipping sideways towards the side push. The adds stated --As a man leans into his work (like a wheel borrow) so does the ADAMS ROAD PATROL. They are kind of common. A very big danger with this type is if you have the blade angled and hit a rock or tree root etc. it will kick the back wheels sideways faster than a mule kicks. A man standing on the back usually gets thrown off even if he is hanging on, Speed increases his chances of death or serious injury. They bring anywhere from $50-$800 depending on their size and condition. Good judgment must be used when hooking big ponies (tractors) to them as in case you hit something real hard, the front wheels can be pulled out from underneath. Common sense is important. Good luck Dave NE Iowa

My dad and uncle owned one years ago. Theirs' was a wagon type running gear with four steel wheels. It had a platform at the very rear for the grader operator to stand. The blade height and angle was controlled by two large wheels that spun parellel with the grader. I remember that Dad always drove the tractor while Uncle operated the blade. After quitting the farm, my uncle became a motor grader operator. Dad bought the Adams at the farm sale after Grandpa died and he took over the farming operation but sold it later because he much prefered his JD #80 blade behind the 620 or 730.HJ

No I don't, as a matter of fact, this is the first time in years that I heard anything about the Adams graders. I do know that they made motor graders in the forties or early fifties. I remember the town where I grew up and live now had one when I was a kid. Couldn't hurt to just run Adams graders thru your search engine.HJ
