Found a good tractor to pull a hay roller with. It's a 90 Deere 3155 MFWD, 3960 hours, and asking $24,500. Is this a good deal? The tractor is rated at 95 horse. They will put a Deere 245 loader on it for $2000 more. Would like you opinions. Thanks in advance!

The 3000 series and smaller tractors had dry clutch, add 4wd and guess where the weak point is. At 4000 hrs. you better ask for proof of clutch condition or you will be buying one. My opinion by a waterloo built with perma-clutch.

Unless you have to have 4wd, you can do more work with a 4430 and 158 loader for about 1/2 the money.

The 245 won't fit on it it's designed for 4 cyl
tractors. You need a 260, 265,or 740 loader for
the 3155. Even if you get the 245 mounted, it
would be light duty.
