Finally putting my 435 back together..
I am needing some info on the oil pressure sending unit. Mine was cobbled together, so it had no oil pressure guage. I am in the process of putting it together the correct way. I ordered a sending unit from deere. It shows an adapter in the parts manual. It is not availible from deere. It also shows a pressure switch, again not availible. What is all this stuff for? also what hole in the block does the sending unit attach? I now have 2 oil lines that screw in the side of the block. Any help would be appreciated. I have all the books, but they don't show a good picture of this.\

Thanks

Arnie, I will have to look at my 435 to answer your questions. Maybe others can more quickly. As far as the gauges, you might try some of the after market suppliers or go to a GM Detroit diesel shop. They have fairly good supplies for these little motors.

I don't have the electrical manual with me at the moment. If I recall correctly, the switch closes with oil pressure making the gauges etc work. No oil pressure, the electrics gauges all quit to get your attention.
