Hi everyone. Hows it going? Last night I went and looked at a John Deere 3300 combine Im thinking about buying. It has a 13 foot head with floating bar, gas engine with 2200 hours(runs really good),drive tires are nice, always been inside. What is it worth? He wants $250. The only problem is the drive shaft coming off the feederhouse snapped. It is on the left hand side. Is this expensive? Hard to replace? Is that still a good price? Thanks a lot.

Matt

Buy it. Paid 10x's + that much a few years ago for one with less than 600 hours. Got tired of custom operators spreading the neighbor's weed seeds across our fields. Used only for oats, used as a nurse crop for alfalfa and brome. Have been thinking of a corn head if I can find something comparable to the combine. So far combine is trouble free.

My Dad always talks about a neighbor who had a 3300 combine. They hated it, it was always a problem from word one. Maybe it was just a lemon. They bought it new and couldn't wait to get rid of it. This neighbor still has only green equipment. Good luck!!!
