Well, it's not the year of the unit that matters to me -- it's the number of hours on it. Wear, tear and regular maintenance are important also. Those models require a BUNCH of maintenance. Parts and accessories are very expensive, too.

Bryan could not have put it any better...the total hours and type of maintenance required will determine the real value. I wonder if regular unleaded will do or if you need premium?? If she's an all fuel, then run her on ethanol...you may get better performance !!

Yeah, I had one of those once, a real bear to operate. You steer it right, it goes left, you put it in first, it goes backwards.

Can't really see what the front grill is like but looks like it might be OK. And I expect the pump is probably in good shape yet given the age of the unit.

I did a double take when I looked at the pic lol. However I cant complain, wait till you see the "Deere Massey" Im building to ride around on with my buddies at Tractor Shows. (I should have it ready for the upcoming July New York State Expo) It's gonna be painted Green and Yellow coverign up the Massey Ferguson red and gray underneath it. It only takes a lot of money to buy Gators or Golf Carts or 4 wheelers to cruise around on, but these home made things have a personality and story plus its a fun shop project to build yourself in my opinion.
