My 3020 has a serious hydraulic leak at the left rear point where draft arm connects to drawbar yoke. There appears to be a bar accross the the lower body held by roll pins. Is this a major repair and does anyone know what parts I might need?

Your load control shaft seals are out. You will need new seals/bushings and quite possibly a new shaft. You will also need a puller to pull the old bushings out. JD parts are high if you don't already know. We put in aftermarket and had good luck with them. Also if your rear wheels are too close you may have to move one to get the shaft out. Or you maybe able to go through the hole in the wheel weights if you have them. Also check the end play and make sure it's not excessive.

There are after-market bushings (the ones in the tractor housing and probably available through your JD dealer) which are machined to accept o-rings. They are immeasurably better at keeping the oil in the tractor than the original oil seals..... ..
