I am looking at a 24t baler in very good condition. Any ideas as to what it is worth?

Tony, I've seen 24T's for as much as $2k, of course they we're completely restored. They're an excellent little baler. Ours was given to us as a "spare parts" baler. It sat out in the weather for better than 20 years. 3 years ago a beam came down in the barn and crushed the top of our other baler so we greased it up and put it to work. Aside form mis-tying a few bales (and taking out a few extra shear pins) the first year it's been great, and I have no real intention of going to the expense of fixing the other baler anytime soon. As for what it's worth, considering the abuse ours has suffered in it's life, and the condition it's in and still going I think that's worth alot. I'd say it's worth what ever you can buy it for. If it's in as good condition as you say it'll probably run longer than you will;). What part of Mn you in Tony? Lived in the Park Rapids area for a while a few years back. Great country. I'd love to get back someday.

I am about 100 miles southwest of the twin cities. I bought this one for 725.00. it came with an attachment to chop two rows of cornstalks that feed direcdtly into the bailer. Is there any market for this type of attachment. I will never use it. Looks like it would fit any 24T. Looks to be in excellant condition.

Bought 14t this spring at sale for $100.
A guy came up to me laughing said, sold last week at sale for $50 and i just got taken.
well just baled hay with it and worked good. I did spend alot of time on knotter. re adjusting
from some one turning things. buy owners manual and it will tell you how to set up. well worth the money. have not had to buy any parts. I'm the one laughing now.

I am looking for one myself. Watched one go at an auction recently for $450. It was a nice one, looked like it had been shedded. Just wasn't able to come up with the money at the time.
