I have a strange problem with my 60. The belt pulley brake touches the pulley kind of at an angle instead of making full contact all the way across. Anyone ever run into that problem??? Any advice would be appreciated.

Williams, a lot of those old Deere's are like that. It comes from wear on the brake arm, clutch fork shaft, wear at the clutch shaft bearing to brake arm, & even a worn brake saddle on the brake arm. Those clip-on brake pads seem to make it angle even worse. ~If the angle isn't too bad it will eventually wear in. If the angle is quite exaggerated you will need to weld & build the worn parts back up & possibly machine & install a bushing at the fork arm to bearing area..

Thanks a million! Mine's not really bad, so I'll just live with it for now.
