Well I need a little advice here, The H which I am restoring I pulled the cam and the crank out to replace bearings in both and I of course I had to remove the reduction cover and the reduction gear and it has about 0.10 up and down on the bearing. replace or not??? upon removing the trans top cover I discovered some (2) chipped teeth on the 1st gear. Now heres the dilemma I have two other H parts tractors upon inspection the first gear in one of them looks dandy. My mechanic instincts are leading me to gut the trans and go through it, however my old iron instincts tell me that "hey this is a play tractor and I should not be so concerned. What would you do??

Thanks for any help
Denny

By the way I would love to meet the engineer who thought up the oil pipe design for the flywheel main bearing housing "way to go A** hole!!!!" looks like I will either buy one or try to get one out of one of the parts tractors without destroying it!!
