Does any one know of a modern front end loader that can be adapted to a 1956 JD model 50? Can the tractors hydraulics support these modern loaders?

The two cylinders used low pressure open hydraulics. A secondary control will be required for both boom lift and bucket control. The transmission isn't the handiest for loader operation either. Armstrong power steering is tough enough without a loader, better to have factory Power Steering wiht a loader. Row crops are tippy with a raised loader, more than a few wide front let alone narrow front have turned greasy side up. Try finding a 20 through 40 series from Canada and watch the local ads, auctions etc. Something will turn up.
