About the clutch bolt pullers- unstyled A tractors

A while back someone asked me if the clutch bolt pullers I have would work on an unstyled A tractor. At the time I didn't have access to one but since then have looked at a couple. It appears that the puller will dislodge the bolt just fine but there might be some interference getting the bolt out of the boss on the reduction gear housing after the bolt has been loosened. The interference comes from the pto shift lever. If the bolt could be moved over about 3/16" or so there would be no problems. The bolt is knurled so once the knurling was clear the bolt should move somewhat in the hole. Some folks have asked me about this so I thought I would just post the answer here. Mike
