Hey guys,
The 41 model H I'm working on is coming along at a snails pace with everything else thats going on in my life right now. I need to know something at the stage I'm at now however. I have the belt pulley off and looks like all the bolts are out of the cover, including the one behind the clutch/pulley brake bearing. It seems still pretty locked on there, is there anything else that has to be taken loose for the cover to come off?
Thanks!

Gary, there are nine exposed capscrews, and one "hidden" capscrew that resides just inside the clutch fork opening, for a total of ten bolts, that retain the reduction cover to the transmission housing on your H. If you've removed all ten, it should come off. However, sometimes those old gaskets can be kind of sticky.

Thanks Dan,
I think they are all out, I have not tried to pry on it or anything as I know what that could do if you forgot to take one out. An uncle of mine had to go to the wrecking yard and get a new bell housing for his truck because of that oversight.
