Looking at a 420 LP that engine is tore apart, what should a Dubuqe LP piston look like? The Waterloo LP pistons are domed, these pistons are flat topped. Thanks

The last one I had apart had domed pistons, and
the head was machined to accept them.It was a
1958 420TLP.

Steve, I have had the engines apart on 420 Lp, Gas, and All Fuel engines. They all have had flat top pistons in them. The 420 parts book shows different numbers for the pistons on all three engines. But the same part number for the rings on all three, so I just know they are all flat top, don't know what the other differences would be unless it is wrist pin location, making a different compression ratio.
