I went to the local farm supply during lunch and there set a dusty box with a picture of a John deer bicycle on it. It is in the original box and has never been assembled. I looked in the box and it is in excellent shape, sparkles like a new one. Does anyone have any idea what it might be worth? I would like to have it but they are asking a pretty penny for it. It is at the dealership that ordered it originally. They told me that a guy that worked there ordered it 25 years ago(I am not even sure when they produced them)ordered it and never bought it. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

I found a JD Bike in the t4rash last week. Looks like an 70s three speed. I alson found a schwin JD Bike at a local JD Dealer here in the Columbus , Ohio area/ looks like an apple crate/Schwin.

I would like to know what model the Deer in the box bike is. These bikes are hard to find and I haven't found any information as to were JD manufactured them or had the made for them like Sears. Ant way , I am on an adventure to find out.

The one I found is a three speed and needs front fender, chain, guard and a crank for peddel sprocket. They bolted on and were not solid like most 70s bikes.

What do you consider to be a pretty penny? It is worth as much as they can get,and how much are you willing to pay? If it is more than you are willing to pay email me. It most likely will be more than I am paying but who knows?
