Hi I am looking at a 4010 tractor and are wondering what its worth. Its a diesel w/ 3 point, dual hydraulics, widefront, new paint newer tiresruns good and syncro-tranny. Whats it worth? It only has 4200 hrs. Thanks everyone.

Matt

Wow, sounds nice! I'm no expert, and responding only because I've been looking a lot for one myself. It might make a good deal of difference if your buying it from an individual farmer or a dealer/someone who rennovates and sells older tractors. If it's in tip-top shape, depending on where in the country it's located, it might bring as much as $8000 I'm guessing. Probably a good sound offer would be $5000 to 6000, again just my guess after looking at a lot of 4020's 3020s and 4010s. btw, for comparison, I've got my eye one one in not nearly as good of shape as what you described-it's propane with 7K hrs on it- paint is fair and needs tires soon- wants $4250 for it. I'm still thinking about it because I would prefer the 4020.
I'm really anxious to hear the pro's comments on your questions! Good luck with it. Tim
