Hi guys,

I have a later styled A electric start flywheel collecting dust next to my garage. I'm tired of looking at it, and I don't want my young kids to tip it over and hurt themselves. Is it worth trying to sell it (Ebay ?) because I would guess it'll cost an arm and a leg to ship this beast. I'm sure I wouldn't get much $$ for it, as these aren't hard to come by, but I hate to just scrap it too. A penny for your thoughts.

Doc they quoted me 100.00 to 125.00 to ship a 730 D flywheel. Where are you located? I do know some one in AK that needs one.

ebay yes if its for a 48-52 a and early 60 there is a short supply and a needy buyer would pay the 50 $ plus shipping and earlier one would be questionable but advertizings sells and some poor joe probably needs one

Hey Doc, Why don't you take it to the next local tractor show and sell it or put on consignment to a parts dealer? Or ask members of your local tractor club if they need one? I'm sure that someone local would find value but who knows ...maybe someone two states away is worring at this moment where he is going to find one.
