Hey all, I'm looking at a 3020 diesel, narrow Front, syncro trans, 2 remotes, with 3pt hitch. The motor has been done by a well respected JD mechanic and it has original paint that is ok. The tractor seems to run out good and the only thing that is wrong is that the fenders are rusted out around the bottom. What are the things to look for on the 3020? He is asking $6500.00 and it is located in central pa. Sound like a deal?

I paid 8000 for my 3020 last year. diesel with 4700 hours, new tires all around, no rust, new paint, roll gard canopy. I figured the roll gard at least a 1000 new ~ so my wide front cost me 500 more than your tractor. If you can be happy and safe with a narrow front end--- the recent overhaul makes it worth it.

I have a wide front 3020(64 model) that I gave 5500.00 when I bought it about 10 years ago. Its been a real good tractor for me. Price would range alot on year model of it. Are the 3pt. and hyd. levers on the dash or by the seat??? It would fetch more I think if it were a wide front but it really varies from one part of the country to the other. I would think here in north central TExas it would be alittle high on price. I got a 4020 diesel last year with a 48 loader on it and real good tires for 9500.00
