We want to put a soundgard cab on our 4320. We know it wont reduce the sound as much as on the 30 series and up and we know some people have done it. I was just wondering how hard it is, what too do with the pedals, since the soundgard has a floor and what about the seat, I'd like to use the soundgard seat but what do you do with the orginal mount because I think it'll be in the way.

Heck, I've always wanted a Sound Guard from a 4030 (if they're smaller) put on a late G... or 730 Diesel.

Watch for me if I ever hit the lottery!

Bert, forget it! I put a sound guard on a late 4020. Many hours of work then had a butchered 4020. I used the dash from the SGB which includes the pedal mounts. Made my own shift linkage (it never quite shifted right). Used the 30 series brake valve & steering valves& Diff.lock Hooked up the AC& heat OK. Used SGB hydraulic levers with some afro-engineering. After 10 years I traded it to a JD dealer for a '77 4430 was allowed $14,000on trade for it. I should have saved the time and just bought the 4430 to begin with, but it was fun, though and caused alot of funny looks when people saw it.

Go trade/buy yourself a 4430. You will be money ahead.
