When operating the dual touch -o- matic independently should I be able to raise and lower the front & rear cultivators independently?

If so I am having trouble. I am able to raise and lower each side independently but not front and rear.

Any guidance on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Daniel

Daniel, both front sections should raise together with one lever, the rear should operate on the other lever on the 3-point hitch. Look at the lifting pipes, the left one is attached to the wrong arm at the rear if it works with the rear section. I have a manual for the 4200 cultivator if you have any more questions. Steve

I don't think they were designed to raise front and rear independently. I think they were designed to raise the right front and rear at the same time, or the left front by itself. These tractors came into being when some crops or gardens might need one row cultivating . The rear wipes out the tractor tracks.
