820 and R fluids

I recently acquired a 820 and a R and would like to change all the fluids. What are the currently recommended fluids for the diesel engines, transmissions, diffs, powertrols, etc? These tractors will only be running in the 40 - 80 F ambient temp range.

I checked with a JD service shop - they did not really have a clue - had never worked on anything that old.

The Diesel engines can run a good quality diesel grade 15w-40.(JD torque guard or Shell Rotella). The pony motors can use the same oil,or if they are in good shape(not smoking or slobbering) I have good luck using a full synthetic 10w-30. The trans takes 80w-90. I use hy-guard in the hydraulics on mine because they still get used every so often, and this way I don�t contaminate one of my late model tractors when changing implements around.
