Tonight my dad and i stoped at a place and saw a 4020 with electronic ignition. does any one know where one would be able to find such a set up to convert a 2510 gas over from the old fashon points and roter to this new electronic ignition? and does any one know how much one would cost?

any help and feed back would be greatly apreaciated.

Electronic ignition won't turn a 90HP engine into a 120HP engine. However it will help ensure the 90HP engine puts out the full 90HP.

I've put several of these units on my tractors and they are great. Will never mess with points again. It seems some on post somewhat downplay the change over however in detailing installation you cannot tell the difference on exterior appearance. Personally I believe a lot of people have never used it...produces about twice the voltage with high out put coil and it will fire the unleaded gas and reduce or eliminate plug fouling. Heat range of plugs is a mute situation with this ignition.
