Has anyone bought a radiator filler and cap? If so what was the cost. My dealer says he don't think he can get it.

Thanks

Hopefully people read this before they post. You have the pressure cap on the radiator? Right? I think it is the same cap that the G used. Your filler neck might not be available no more. You might have to get one for a non-pressure cap. And put a non-pressure cap on it. I think the filler neck is reproduced. But I don't know by who. Hopefully some one does. Good luck.

Hi Will, You might try Sharp's Antique Tractor Works, Inc. They are primarly a source for JD "H" parts but they do have things for other models. Their web site is www.OLDJD4U.COM Melanie has really been great answering my inquiries. Good luck. Have a nice evening. Jerry

Bought one of each about 10 yr. ago. Seems like they were less than $10 each, but things have no doubt changed since then. At that time I got filler necks for my D, A, & H. Good luck,
Paul

Thanks for the info guys, I'll try sharps, I just bought a steering wheel and an oil pressure gauge from Sharps. Seems like good quality products, I'll give them a try.
