On my 55 70D If you push the powertrol leaver forwards it will build pressure and spring it back, but if you push it backwards it just releases pressure. It will never build any pressure at all. Now on my 47 B it will biuild pressure both ways, why isnt it doing it? HELP

I have a 56 70d that does the same thing when
working with the 3pt works perfect with a mounted
plow or back blade. when I hook up the cyl. it works pressure in both directons.

70Dlarry, it sounds like you have different outlet plugs in each tractor, or you have a selector valve & have it set wrong for your application. ~Basically if you have open front plugs you will only get pressure in one direction. If you have closed front couplings [plugs] then you will have pressure in both directions. If you have a selector valve in the top outlet [& it's closed] you will have pressure in both directions but the rockshaft will also try to move. If the selector valve is open you will only have one way pressure & that will include pressure to the rockshaft.
~I know this is hard to understand the first time through it so Questions are welcome..... ..... ..

70DLarry,

On my 60 when using the rockshaft, the lever does the same thing; but that's the way it's supposed to work (again, when using the rockshaft). It's a nice feature when using 3-point implements that you want to "float" while moving such as a finish or rotary mower, snow blade, etc.
