i got questian guys, did a 46 a slant dash have a mag or disturbuer. the one i'm doing right now has a dist. on it the kill swith is mounted in the hood, but can't find where the switch supposed to go. if it is supposed to have a dist. where is the switch mounted on these?

Your tractor originally came with a Wico C1042 magneto, but since it has a battery it could be converted to a distributor. Do you have the Wico XB4001 distributor, or the Delco-Remy 1111558 distributor? The Wico unit looks like a magneto, while the DR unit bolts up to the governor box like a magneto, but sticks straight out from the tractor. The kill switch hookup will depend on which unit you have.
