Don, Where are you located? The company I work for sell GL-1 140. We have stores all over the midwest.

Maybe I can help.

I was having trouble finding GL1 for my tractor until I contacted Shell. I just purchased 5 gallons of Shell Dentax 80w90 today. It's product code is 59003. It cost $41 for the 5 gallon pail. They also make 140 (59050)and 250 weight (59051). I had to order it but the distributor only took 2 days to get it in. Shell has a good web site at www.shell-lubricants.com/.

Don, that 60 trans isn't very fussy & you can use just about anything including motor oil if the viscosity is in the correct range.
~Now that being said there are some slight advantages to different gear oils. ~I'll bet if you look closely enough you will find that 85-140 you are looking at has a GL rating & it will probably be GL-5 or 6. [most multi-weights are]. The GL stands for "gear oil" & the number classifies the additive package against known specs.
~That 85-140 wouldn't be my first choice for your 60 unless it is going to be used continuously at 80 MPH or in extremely cold weather. That 85-140 will pretty well stay at 85 weight until you run that 60 long & hard enough to get that gear oil up to & above 100C. You won't do that with occasional or light use. Most of that 85-140 gear oil is also designed for free flow & to increase fuel mileage so it doesn't stick to the gears like the older GL-1 gear oil. The 85-140 won't hurt the trans but it will be a little nosier due to the flow qualities of that type gear oil. There is also the chance that the EP additives in that GL-5, 85-140 will effect some of the yellow metal in the trans [the 60 doesn't use much bronze though].... ~If you can't find 90 weight in GL-1 you would probably still be better off with regular 90 weight GL-5 instead of 85-140. ~Have you tried your local Wal-Mart? In my area the local Wal-Mart carries 90 weight GL-1 in 5 gallon pails for about 20 some dollars.
