During the winter, water got into the carb bowl, froze and broke the pipe that holds the bowl onto the carb. Any ideas how I can try to fix it? I can get the nut to catch the thread, but not with the gasket in place.
Thanks for you time

Paul,
This can be repaired, but it must be done right to avoid serious problems later. If that bowl nut comes off or the thread breaks while you are running with a hot engine the fan will blow a lot of gas onto a hot manifold. This isn't cool to say the least. I had one on my B that had been poorly repaired by brazing. I had Doug at Burrey Carburetor in Monroeville, IN repair it. He replaces the whole thread portion of the stem with a new one that is pinned to the remainder of the stem. He did a great job with mine. Cleaning carbs is a fairly easy job, but this repair has to be done right. I'd recommend a professional on this one. Just my opinion.
Paul
