Got the brake assembly's off my 44 B. Also got the nut & the gear pulled off the shaft. One of the adjusters is broke off and they're both frozen pretty tight, so I can't get the drum/shaft assembly off the brake shoes, do I need to get the adjuster free before the drum will come off & will heating them up with the torch help to get them loose? I apprecitate all the help you guy's have given me.

Scott I would spray them with some good penetrating oil like PB Blaster or something like it. I did mine on my 41 and it really did a good job on mine. Be Patient and it will loosen up. It might take a few times to loosen but it will come apart. Dan 41B
