Hello, I have a real good 71' JD 4320. It has an original john deere cab on it. I want to remove the cab and make it identical to the cabless 4320s. I need to know the parts this will require and maybe approximated costs. Any help at all is greatly appriciated!!!

Keep in mind that the fenders for a 4320 are different than those for a 4020. This is a common mistake that is made.

When you remove the cab you will need a platform, because the original JD cab if it is a hinson cab uses it own platform. Then you will need fenders and the mounting brackets, plus the rockshaft covers, and battery boxes.

remove the cab, buy fenders, get the battery boxes that go under the platform if you don't allready have them re-wire the lights and batteries, maybe add a radio if you want, thats about all it should take on any of the 20 series tractors

Leave it as is...in the long run it will be worth more as a collectable. :-)
