Ok, I know that it's not painted green , but this is where I come to seek help for all of my old iron. Does any one know of any discussion board similar to this one for Bobcat skid steer loaders? Dad was given a Bobcat with a Wisconsin air cooled engine that was burned out. Over the last 10 years he has piddled with it off and on rebuilding it and just about has it done. He has some questions about it. The local dealer has no clue about anything that is more than 15 years old. Dad isn't even sure of the model number of it. There's no serial number to be found so he doesn't know which manual to order for it. Any help is much apreciated.

Thanks, DaveH

Could be a model 600 or more likely a 610. The 610 serial number plate is found on the vertical panel in front of the battery and flush with the front edge of the seat. Serial number plate is visible without removing anything.

Go to the crawler/loader/ backhoe board and post any questions to Gatractorman, he is the GURU on bobcat, I've owned several, and still own one but I uselate model stuff, have to depend on them to make a living, so don't know much about older units except they are worth their weight in use, Nat
