Hi , My neighbor has a 3010 with single remote. He has a loader on the tractor , w/single acting cylinders , and trip bucket. He would like to put double acting cylinders on the tractor for both the loader arms and bucket. How should he go about this? Should he put another remote on the tractor? Or , should he use separate valves? How would he plumb the hydraulics from the tractor , should he use separate valves. I have not looked at the tractor yet. I would like to have a little knowledge of what I'm looking at when the time comes. Thanks , Scott Green

Hey Scott,
If its like my 3020 and 4020, and I think it is, there should be a hyd. connection just ahead and above the brake pedals. This is a pressure point that you can place a T connection and then the return line should go to a connection on the hyd. filter cover. There is a filter cover that has the connection on it. This is the way my loader is plumbed on my 4020.

The 3010 4010 is a whole differant ball game from the 2 bangers. The 2 bangers are open center hyds and you just have to cut into the pressure line to add valves. The 3010 is closed center and to add valves you need what J.D. calls power beyond.. I don't recall if what you need shows in the 3010 parts book or the loader parts book. Best bet is to take a trip to the dealer and check out the part. Then you can go to loader mounted valves. It would probley be the cheapest wa to go.

Hi just wondering if a 3010 will run a loader very fast or will it be slow to respond?
Thanks Ron.
