I'm restoring a 1944 B all fuel and I'm getting pretty impactiant to hear the old girl run. I have the small gas tank cleaned enough to keep clean fuel. How long will this tractor run with just the small tank available for gas? The large fuel tank is in pretty tough shape and is going to need a lot of work yet, and i'm real close to being able to get it running. TIA

Hi Scott,

Maybe you can help me out. I've got two tanks that I'm assuming are off of a John Deere Model B all-fuel.

Please check these two pictures out and tell me if they are off of the same tractor:

Thank you in advance for your time, -Schotte

They sure do look an awful lot like my tanks, especially the small one. Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks pretty close to me. Good luck.

My 43B all-fuel will run for over an hour on two gallons of gas. That is plowing the field with a 2 bottom plow. I think that little tank is 2 1/2 gallons. Just putting around it will go for a pretty long time.
