4320 Flywheel

Had a customer send a 4320 into our shop the other day for a clutch and other work. Upon splitting it and removing the clutch pack from the flywheel I found that the rivets on the clutch disk had been contacting the bolts holding the flywheel to the crankshaft. At first I thought that the disk had been installed backwards but a check of the tech manual proved that wrong. I removed the bolts and was going to send the flywheel to the machine shop for resurfacing,when I noticed that the one bolt hole does not have a counterbore as do the other three. Has this been a problem lurking here since 1972 and only coming to light as the clutch disk wore into the flywheel? I can see no reason why one bolt hole would not have the same counter bore as the others. I hope I don't have to sell the guy a new flywheel--$1100 Canadian. As always, any info is appreciated.
