I've been looking to buy a 4020 but I need 1000 pto capabilities,and alot of them I see advertised mention nothing about the pto speed.

Most of them have both P.T.O.'s. I've only seen one that only had the 1000 and the guy who bought it off the farmer I knew took it to the dealer and they split the tractor and changed the shaft and gears so both speeds could be used. Never have seen another one but I'm sure they are out there.

4020�s came with 540/1000, 1000 only or no pto.Facing the rear of the tractor, look to the left and above the pto shaft, the 1000 shaft should be sticking out the side of the trans. housing. You have to manually change the shafts to convert to 1000 or back to 540.

every one I have seen has it. May have been an option not to have PTO or something.
