My Model 60 has the automatic fuel shut off system and I want to replace the sediment bowl screen. How big of a job am I in for? Should I also replace the "Valve" #A4977R and the "Valve Seat Washer" #A4978R?
Thanks!

Al,
The sediment bowl screen is a fairly easy job. Did the one on my 60 last summer. The valve and seal job probably generates two schools of thought -- 1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it (or it lived for 50 years already, it should live for another 50). And 2. As long as I have the whole thing apart, I might as well replace it and do a good restoration. If you chose path No. 1, just remember the possible cause if you ever find gas in the oil, oil in the gas, or the tractor suddenly stops for no good reason.
